Pride Night with Queen Sativa is your new Tuesday tradition at Darren’s Speakeasy Bar in Renton. On Tuesday, May 19 at 7:00 PM, we’re turning the speakeasy into a celebration of Pride, community, and unapologetically being yourself— headlined by the one and only Queen Sativa. Expect fierce drag, strong drinks, and the kind of night that writes its own ending. Whether you’re a scene regular or it’s your first time at a drag show, there’s a seat at the bar and a family on the floor waiting for you. Hosted in partnership with the Renton LGBTQIA+ Community. Drag, drinks, and whatever the night calls for. See you Tuesday!

200 S Tobin St, Renton, WA.
The next Pride Planning and Board Meeting will take place at Darren’s Speakeasy (200 S Tobin St) at 6pm. All members and LGBTQ+ supporters are welcome to attend.

The time is upon us, time to take flight-

March is full of LGBTQ+ community events in and around Renton! From youth groups and support spaces to crafting nights, story hour, and a special author visit, take a look at what’s coming up.

On February 25th, 6pm, at the Renton Library we will be holding a facilitated, community-centered conversation focused on dialogue, questions, and relationship-building between LGBTQIA+ community members and local law enforcement. This is a space to ask questions or raise concerns about public safety and emerging issues. We kindly ask all attendees to engage respectfully and thoughtfully as we address these sensitive topics together.

Our Cozy Crafting event on February 11th was cancelled due to a heating issue at the venue. The event will now take place on Wednesday, February 18th, at the same time and location. Hope to see you there!

We’re looking for new board members! If you’re interested, email rentonlgbt@gmail.com or connect with a current board member. Expect about 8–12 volunteer hours each month. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow your leadership skills and give back to the community.
Membership Meeting and Board Elections on October 23rd.

On the third Saturdays from 3-4:30pm, any ages 11-22 the Renton LGBTQ+ Youth Group meets. This is a free and fun social support group open to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

Join us for Pride in the Park on Saturday, August 2nd from 11am to 3pm at Cedar River Tail Park! This is a casual, low-key gathering for LGBTQIA+ folks, families, and allies to relax, connect, and enjoy the outdoors together. No stage, no vendors—just a peaceful space to be in community.
Bring your own lunch or picnic blanket and settle in! We’ll have some snacks and drinks available to share, and plenty of shade by the river. Whether you stay for a few minutes or the whole afternoon, we’d love to see you there.
